Oh, I still haven't listened to the score separately from the film, but this was a tremendous sequel score. The first of the Spengler Films leaned very heavily on Bernstein quotes and did it very well. But this one? Wow, it actually managed to live in the same musical space without hardly ever directly quoting EB.

From some who went to the premiere, the score is mostly reuse, with little new music.
 

Oh, one more. This cue is unavailable on any releases of the score, but it’s used twice in a row and is so good. Hopefully the next LLL expansion is this score. 910275DD-7BC9-4E07-8F47-887E2AECB70B.mov  
 

1:57 and on is soooooo beautiful. Though the most calm variations on the three themes, they’re easily the best in the entire score. I’d love to hear this live.

The fact that Gunn is a writer and doesn’t keep re-editing in post would make a collaboration much more interesting than with most Hollywood directors nowadays.

That whole long violin line ending in the suspension. An amazing moment.

Gordy is the go-to video game composer for a JW soundalike. If the music played under the featurette is his music, then he's done a very good job.

On the contrary i want him to ape wiliams. An indy score with new themes. Not cut and paste DOD prologue like.

Seems like it. I think they've just added digital percussion to make the main trailer "epic" sounding compared to the rest of it. I'm hearing a lot of material that's definitely "theme material" and it's great.

It’s honestly up for debate until next Thursday to be honest. This is a Bethesda game and not from EA, so it’s not as highly likely to get Haab and Barton in here. Clint has been doing WoW as of recently. I’m not sure where Todd Howard sits on film music and whether or not it’s important (to him), so we’ll just have to see.
 
I do think there’s a fair chance Vincent Oppido (composer of the Indiana Jones temple segments in Fortnite) could be in the running. Some decent stuff there (listed below)
