Kusi got a reaction from Yavar Moradi in Die Hard With A Vengeance by Michael Kamen (La-La Land 2CD Complete)
Same here. Loved it in the movie too - somehow it prepares the whole subway mayhem which is about to come after it.
This score has a special place in my heart. It was the first action movie which I need to go with my parents to the cinema to watch. And with this score my love to film scores started. All these years I listened to the OST. When La La Land Records announced the expanded score back then it was like a dream come true. With the complete cue list now showing the flame newly rekindled again with hope for a more "expanded" set. I really hope for it.

Kusi got a reaction from Jay in Marco Beltrami's THE FACULTY (1998) - NEW! 2023 Intrada 2-CD
I ordered but didn‘t receive it yet. What I can remember from the old promo is: it‘s some classic Beltrami horror music.

Kusi got a reaction from Yavar Moradi in David Arnold's TOMORROW NEVER DIES (1997) - NEW! 2-CD Expanded Edition from La-La Land Records (2022)
oh yeah. I really hoped for a new endless "Barry"-era. He really did such a good job on composing and feeling the Bond-sound.

Well, I had no time to comment to this release since I received it. I listen to the set regurarly. The "Surrender (alternate)" track is amazing - I love the quiet intro to the song. Also the track "White Knight" is still amazing after all these years. The final tracks "Ha Long Bay", "Boarding The Stealth", "Grenade", "A Tricky Spot For 007", "Stealth Shoot Out", "Carver Gets It", "All In A Day's Work" are amazingly wall to wall scoring with big and entertainy orchestra music..... if I'd continue writing about this score the word "amazing" would appear several more times. I love the classic David Arnold/Nicholas Todd sound.

Kusi reacted to WampaRat in David Arnold's TOMORROW NEVER DIES (1997) - NEW! 2-CD Expanded Edition from La-La Land Records (2022)
Just finished my first complete listen to this new set. I’d only ever listened to the Chapter III release and while I feel that edition is still a great summation of the score, this release knocks it out of the park. What a tremendous love letter to the Bond scores of the past mixed with the expectations of 90s blockbuster scoring. Arnold really attacked this as if he’d never score another Bond film again. The Monty Norman theme is flashed all over the place yet never becomes tiresome due to Arnold’s skillful adaptations and iterations.
I mentioned earlier my preference for including the alternate version of “Surrender” instead of the Sheryl Crowe song. Still the best way to go in my opinion. Sometimes I find beefy action scores like this can outstay their welcome after 70mins. But this one knows just when to lay into the bombast and when to pull it back and have a breather. (The Okinawa/Halo cue is the perfect connecting tissue between “Backseat Driver” and “Underwater Discovery”. A tonal jump I always found jarring on the Chapter 3 release) There’s always something interesting occurring with the orchestration that keeps you hooked. Percussion, gorgeous woodwind solos. Even the 20 minute action packed climax beginning with “Boarding The Stealth” all the way to “All in a Days Work” is sprinkled with appropriate moments of rest before it boils over into another whirlwind of Bond Bravado.
Toss out those old boots and iso score rips. Nobody does it better than Lala Land
(Now onto Amistad. Talk about a tonal shift 😁)

S3 - Venkman’s 6th Ave. Strut (3:06)
S6 - The Sensitive Side of Dana (4:08)
S10 - Oscar is Quietly Surrounded (4:23)
S16 - Finale (1:29.86-End)
https://chrono-score.blogspot.com/2021/08/ghostbusters-ii-1989.html
S14 is tracked into a few other areas and the fanfare from S7 is also heard elsewhere. Many of the tracks are alternates of some sort. The only reason S9C is marked as an alternate is because it is 100% different from what was heard in the film but the instrumentation heard is similar to pieces from that section. The finale of S16 is heard on S1 with a piano track preceding it that is unheard in the film.
Enjoy.

They are great, and easily the best (for me: only good) thing he's done since the 90s (where he did a ton of great work)

I can only agree with @StarkI absolutely adore Twister - still listen to this score regularly. "Mobil Home", "Cow" ... I better stop with favourite tracks. Because in the end I would list every track
