As a small (but growing) fan of Gaiman and a big fan of Pratchett, I've been looking forward to this ever since it was announced. The cast seems to be pretty perfect. Quintus 5,399
Is this a quirky little ensemble type score then, or a big orchestral one? Would have been dead keen on the latter tbh. I've reimmersed back into ID4 again recently, it's such a fabulous car listen. I hadn't listened to it for probably fifteen years, and it feels like a rediscovery. Fuckin' brilliant leitmotif soundtrack from another time.
Jay 37,364
Yea ID4 is one of the best scores of all time! As for Good Omens, we don't know much about it yet, but you can hear the entire Main Title cue earlier in the thread if that helps

Thor 7,504
Listening to this now. There's some good stuff here, in Arnold's SHERLOCK HOLMES style (sprinkled with a little bit of Danny Elfman and The Addams Family and a few electric guitars here and there), but the album is about a million minutes too long. I know it sounds weird to complain about too much music when we get a new Arnold score about every 10 years or so these days, but I think there's an excellent 50-minute programme in here somewhere. I'll put it on my evergrowing lists of projects to 'whittle down' to a good listening experience, when time allows. I just wish he had combined several of the short cues into longer suites or something. Just when a track is about to get going, the track ends -- often less than a minute. This recurs throughout the album. I'll probably write a review about it, although I just gave away all my main points....

#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
Probably because no one wants him to write that shit anymore? Sorry Lee, they simply don't like scores like ID4 nowadays.

#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
TBH I don't know.
