Their original email said it would be on sale on their site and on Amazon but it never appeared on Amazon. Someone asked about it in the comments and Mondo replied saying it hadn’t launched yet. So I bet Mondo got to sell 500 and Amazon gets 500.

To be honest, they could have just included a 9th disc with suites from that album. But I suppose it is the same situation as when LLL or Intrada include the original album as a bonus. Either way, the price is good enough so it doesn't matter. The 2 disc set is a good assembly.

Warner Classics will release John Williams Reimagined, a new album featuring music by the Academy Award-winning composer arranged for chamber trio of flute, cello, and piano. The 2-CD set is produced by Robert Townson and the music is performed by flutist Sara Andon, cellist Cécilia Tsan, and pianist Simone Pedroni. The album covers Williams’ career from his early Emmy Award-winning score for the 1970 television film Jane Eyre to the main theme of 2022’s The Fabelmans, and includes such titles as Star Wars, Schindler’s List, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Jurassic Park, A.I. Having heard the entire album now, I can say this is definitely very solid. Not outstanding, as others have pointed out, but I really enjoyed myself during those 61 minutes. The final track is indeed the best of the lot.

Howard Shore - The Hobbit Trilogy (Special Editions)
 
I love these scores!! There are some truly phenomenal themes here. Sometimes it's a bit too much maybe. Especially on the 3rd album with 6 cues of battle music. But because Shore does so many interesting and cool things with his themes and the orchestra it remains a joy throughout!
