Is this a bootleg? It's listed on Amazon as if it's a thing. My copy of The Reivers doesn't have a 7 minute track called "The Reivers Reprise", so what is that?

I would advise you not scroll very far down the page linked above, as there is a scan of a black and white photo of Steve McQueen with a muddy face that is nightmare fuel. I'm sleeping with the lights on tonight!

The "Reivers Reprise" is all the intrumental bits (no narration) from the BPO CD he did in 1994 (?) called (I think) "Music From Stage And Screen".

Can someone please explain to me why am I seeing dozens of different versions of moving gifs with Pulp Fiction John Travolta?

Has anything happened?

It has started getting a bit irritating after the first 6-7 different gifs I saw.

At 1:10 of this video through 2:54 what instruments are playing?

Can you be more specific? Aside from the sound fx, there are low horns and trombones, then harp, strings...the whole orchestra during such a long time range of orchestra so at what specific moment?

Mostly 1:10-1:56 trying to figure out what gives the horns that softer "Moe" sound instead of a more rough sound

though 2:25-2:47 too.

Nothing unusual there, just low close voiced soft horns and trombone pads (without tuba). That "Moe" sound is what horns sound like when played soft. They have a very wide timbre and dynamic range so you can get them to sound quite noble, terrifying, playful, romantic, dull, etc., etc. A solo trumpet is added at 2:25 but these low horns and trombones are all over tense underscore scenes in sci fi and fantasy such as Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.

D#4 or D#5?

That first note in horns is D#4. I am looking to show you something in the repertoire.

EDIT: Ok, check this out...https://youtu.be/iJP52W2fa3w?t=2902

...and shout out to old buddy (and excellent player/teacher), Joe on trombone 2. This low horn and trombone close voicing is very common for deaths of hero in romantic music. I found lots of examples but they tended to include too many other instruments where here they are mostly exposed...Russians loved this stuff. The horns are there too just slightly quiet.

This: https://youtu.be/iJP52W2fa3w?t=889(try to focus on the horns and bones because there is still alot of other stuff going on) but that is the range and sound.

This famous opening but ignore trumpets and tuba and cast it in minor:

Question - I now have a very loud and annoying light saber sound on youtube volume control. Is there a way to deactivate it?

Is there clarinet and basson in there? (the ROTS cue)

This is basically my attempt to mockup that bit of the cue:

This is what I hear. Do you have Sibelius? If so I'll send you the notes.

PadmesVisitMIDI.mp3 <--- NOTE, this file is NOT an MP3, it is MIDI. This site gave me an error of "You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file" for a midi file so I changed the extension to MP3 instead. The last two chords oscillate a few times as the strings come in.

Is there anything better than The Motorcade from Air Force One, music by Jerry Goldsmith?

Ummm. Wasn't there something called Star Trek that was supposed to be better than everything?

There's a motif appearing at 2:40 in 1941's 'Chrissie Takes Another Swim' which appears in one of Williams's concert works as well - does anyone know which concert work, by chance? I can't seem to put my finger on it. The Oboe Concerto, perhaps?

A song is a musical composition with sung lyrics.  When talking about scores, please use "tracks".

Anyway I don't know why you'd want to rename anything.  Just put the CDs in your player and enjoy the music!

If you want to own it, there are used copies on Amazon starting at $45
