Yes.

Just count yourself lucky I didn't have the motivation to turn it into a calculus or linear algebra equation.

Are you the Riemann integral over the interval [1/2 , 13/2] of the function f defined by the expression f(x)=2x for every real number x?

Fascinating. This pleases me, you're a wise person.

I'm genuinely flattered.

Dear lord. We're invaded by kids!

I remember you actually used to like me before you found out my true age!

I'm also 18.*

*I don't always denote numbers in base ten.

Cheers!! Let's go watch MLP! ;)

In my lifetime, a photon of light could have travelled approximately 2 million AU's.

Just done the math.

30

Short by 2....

Ah yes. 'Approximately.'

32.

Accounting for random uncertainties of course.

Well one AU is traversed by light over 8.3 minutes. So, there being, usually, 525,600 minutes in a year, that's 63,325 AU's in a year, dividing an approximate 2,000,000 by that, we get 31.5 which, keeping our rounding consistent, is 32.

As for why it's the funniest number....

If that's the case, could V'ger really be "over 82 AUs" in diameter, as Capt. Decker suggests?

I must say some of you are younger than I thought

Remember JWfangirl92?

She was like 14 when she joined

I found this place when I was 9 or 10, and have kept an eye on it regularly ever since.
