  1. VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED is a great little film, with a tight, literate script, good performances from Sanders and Shelly, and creepy kids (the effect was gotten by putting platinum blonde wigs on to children with brown eyes). It's a minor British classic. The remake is dog shit.
  2. After tons of supporting roles (Finchy), it's good to see Ralph Ineson getting some recognition.
  3. "Ooh! It damn well hurts!" "Certainly it hurts." "Well, what's the trick, then?" "The 'trick', William Potter, is not minding that it hurts."
  4. There are no scores that I wish that JW had not done, but there are plenty of films out there that did not deserve as good a JW score as they got.
  5. The ponytail will forever be quintessential Jerry. The ponytail is to Jerry, what the turtleneck is to JW. It's not really him, without it.
  6. That's the thing, dude; I don't like POTA (2001), I never have, and I probably never will. I do, however, appreciate aspects of the film.
  7. See? See? Right there ^ | That's how to defend a film.
  8. "You have the manersh of a goat, and you shmell like a dungheap, and you've no idea of your potenshall. Now... get out!"
  9. Fuck the internet era. I don't give a single goddamn about all those faceless troll cowards, who hide behind their anonymity, taking pot-shots at well-loved pieces of entertainment, simply because they upset whatever group's gossamer sensitivities these people have aligned themselves with, this week. Screw the lot of them. They have no idea of history, message, or context. They are ignorance, prejudice, and herd mentality personified.
