Long time reader, first time poster. Bought the Lost World expansion today. Never was a huge fan of the score until maybe 3 or 4 years ago, I gave it another try and truthfully I think it passes JP overall, so I can’t wait to grab this. Was motivated by all of the wonderful cover art concepts and just had to add my own one slight improvement.

Been working on a LOT of prop replicas recently and have had to get very good at finding fonts.

Incorrect!  The credit in the JP booklet for Dennis Budimir on guitar is correct.  He was there on the last day so the AFM is properly crediting him.  My speculation is that they had plans to record a source cue on the final day, maybe for the Dennis/Nedry scene that ultimately got scored by the licensed track "Las Gaviotas" in the final cut.  Maybe they even rehearsed it, but they obviously never recorded it.  So the AFM is correct to credit him and there's no mistake.
 
And The Lost World features no guitar playing at all.  The sound in "Reading The Map" that sounds like a fender bass guitar is actually synth!

If you compare JP with The Sorcerer's Stone then TLW is The Prisoner of Askaban.

Also the 5,000 copy reissue of the first score is still available 13 months later.

The JP/TLW boxset was the first time I decided I would be collecting any and all Williams expansions, it was also my first pre-order from LLLR so getting that first batch I kept the missing teeth booklet as it felt kinda rare/collectable. 
 
Because of that I skipped the JP reissue and honestly I'll skip this one as well, but it's great to see this score not only available to those who missed out on that boxset but to possibly get an update on the materials that were available at the time or improving certain edits always makes me grateful even if it's a release I don't plan on buying.

Well, I think every Williams release should feel deluxe and definitive, but point taken. Honestly I'm thrilled with whatever we're getting.
 
Sorry if I derailed this thread a little bit. But a few Dinorama jokes are never amiss.

LLL's original $60 box set with both Jurassic Park Williams scores took a year and a half to sell out 5000 copies. I'll be shocked if this Lost World release sells out faster than that, frankly, since those 5000 people already have a great version of the score.
