Jay 37,378
Hmm, that's a great question! Masada could have been his longest if he scored all four episodes maybe
Disco Stu 15,495
I'm guessing The Sand Pebbles is the longest feature film he's scored, but of course movies were much more sparsely spotted back then so the score itself isn't as long as later ones for shorter movies. Jay 37,378
I wasn't talking about length of the film/show itself, but the length of the score
Disco Stu 15,495
Sure, I just think it's wild that there was a 3 hour movie with only 70 minutes of score. Sorry for going off subject!
Brundlefly 2,385
Warlock has a 72 minutes score and the film is just 100 minutes long! Being miniseries, Masada and QB VII don't really count. I think Air Force One is around 85 minutes and is his second longest score, but The Mummy is almost 100 minutes!

Kasey Kockroach 2,344
For the sake of my bank account, I hope it turns out this score doesn't need a 2-disc presentation in order to be appreciated (I would think a 58-minute album would be enough). Yavar Moradi 2,604
I adore the source music for this too, particularly the middle eastern stuff. What would be cool to get is versions of certain cues with, and without, the source music that is cross faded with it in the film. Yavar
OneBuckFilms 324
I don't think there's really much source music in there, maybe 1 or 2 cues (I think for the Cairo marketplace and on the boat before it is sunk). But it is certainly good for the scenes it is in. The score is awesome, atmospheric, frightening, action-packed, lots of great themes, exactly the things I love in a film score. Corellian2019 386
Just FYI, the only source music composed or arranged by Goldsmith are the two piano cues heard on the boat; everything else is third-party
