    And "Young Elrond."

And they transferred the romantic angle that Arwen would have provided to the Young Aragorn premise to this Bronwyn lady (who I think looks neat) and Arondir, who had also clearly expropriated the "Legolas Superhero Moments"TM

That’s it, blame the fans. How dare they react to trailers, discuss them, realign their expectations?

    Anywho.

Looks to me like they negotiated the rights to do a “Young Aragorn” show and instead decided to do “Young Galadriel.” (Well, youngER.)

I went from a) not knowing that was happening to b) knowing it and trying to pull out the chronological cues (on tape!) to c) being astounded at how artistically it was done! Inner City (Star Wars, I know) is an AMAZING track!

Sounds like they only worked on the album rebuild for this edition, with everything else being the same as the 3-CD version except for Inner Workings, which is now the version from the 50th

Yeah I appreciate Heir to the Empire actually giving the in-universe reason of Ben Kenobi's ghost having one last meeting with Luke (great scene btw) and saying that he is passing on, almost like being a force ghost is a state of purgatory

It sounds like it is different. It’s kind of weird, the way he talks about it, though, as if they are literally ignoring everything they have done since 1979 and doing this from scratch.

I forgot to mention that although I'm letting her chart her own course through the various Star Wars media, once she decided she wanted to watch the "old movies" I did make it so that she watches 4K77, Harmy's Empire, and 4K83

Another thing - I know it's only for the trailer and PR bollocks, but 'Before the King' is a laughably absurd statement in this context.

Amazon haven't a clue have they?

    I've just finished it.
I'm afraid it didn't do anything musically to me...

If you haven't seen any Spider-Man films from the last 20 years, don't bother. It won't make a lick of sense, and none of the emotional beats will land for you.

But if you have to watch one, I'd go with Raimi's Spider-Man 2. Or Into the Spiderverse.

They did that utterly inexcusable South Pacific remake with a 54-year-old Glenn Close in the role of Nellie.

I think it's an interesting creative choice and I think the people online who are trying to make it into some kind of political choice have culture war induced brain-rot

Yeah, it’s an in-universe prophecy, too, there is no omniscient author telling us the prophecy is actually destiny. It is a dramatic device in the tragedy of the PT, which just exists to motivate the characters, mostly towards their own doom.

I listened to Return of the Jedi yesterday and had a shitload of fun with it. Almost forgot, how good it was. Of course, I'm referring to the 1993 Anthology program.

That is very incomplete, it's just 1 hour of highlights.

The LLL main program is 85 minutes, and after that there's a wealth of alternates that are actually interesting to listen to, which is not always the case with expansions.
