So... it's FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD, with a soupçon of THE WICKER MAN, a dollop of ANNA KARENINA, and a slight whiff of FAR AND AWAY. I'm detecting a little bit of MIRROR, as well.

It looks intriguing, and I liked LOVING VINCENT, so I'll watch out, for it.

I've probably missed any comments but anyone else looking forward to the Founder? Could be good... don't think a composer has been announced yet, which is surprising given it's out in less than a couple of months. Any rumours?

What film is that?

Yeah, that's what I thought. Hence my confusion, because that was released in 2017.

But Edwards' The Creator is something I'm also very much looking forward to

Isn't Founder about McDonald's?

I mean, they might still eat burgers in The Creator.

If it's as good as it looks then it could be great so fingers crossed... potentially a great opportunity for a great score too, but still odd nothing's leaked as presumably the music must already have been written or be nearly complete?

When I posted the trailer in this thread, I included some links showing that various websites claim Giacchino is composing it.

Given the filmmaker he would have been my guess. Hopefully it’ll be an opportunity for him to write something interesting.

Hopefully they do a sequel The Founders about the origin of DS9's big bad...

They'll have to do it while Salome Jens is still alive, or they'll have to replace her with shoddy CGI…

could be my favourite composer but it's always in flux

I wish Goldsmith himself were still in flux.

Matinee prices at the IMax for Oppenheimer on friday is 25 bucks for 2.

13.50 for David, and I get the senior citizens discount 11.50.

And they upgraded to recycling leather seats.

I remember going to an independent cinema, to see a film ( TRULY MADLY DEEPLY, if you must know), where one could (gasp!) drink and smoke.

know!!!

Cheese popcorn? Hmm. Not sure about that.

My popcorn of choice is salty, with enough butter to clog arteries, permanently.

I got center seats one row off the floor. Richard I love cheese popcorn or buttered salted popcorn with jalapeno cheese dip.

Bespin you should go to see Barbie dressed as your favorite Barbie Titanic Character.

Your can be Bespin Jack Ken, my husband David is going as Cal Ken, and Im biting the bullet and going as Rose Barbie, but only because the dress fits and I can still pirouette

on either big toe
