There are very many, but right now, for me:

"The Conspirators" from JFK

"The Water Kite Sequence" from Jaws 2

"Journey to the Island" from Jurassic Park

"Indy's Very First Adventure" from Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade

"I Could Have Done More" from Schindler's List

I'm on a Silvestri binge at the moment, but off the top of my head it would have to be the Indy fanfare from Temple Of Doom when he lands in the mine car. :)

The Dark Side Beckons.

The cue were Anakins mother dies.

Yes. Haven't listened to that for some time now... I will do so this afternoon.

And out of the more recent works?

And out of the more recent works?

'Seven Years in Tibet', whenever that 'Love Story'-like theme comes up...

And to give a rather childish affair it's due: when Robin Williams flies up to Hook's ship and they prepare to duel in the second part of 'Ultimate War'. The Korngoldian splendor of this lone minute still reaffirms my faith in filmmusic now and then.

I don't think I've ever experienced chills from John Williams. I have with other composers though.

Bach, Mozart and Beethoven?

Beethoven definitely. Morricone, JNH, Giacchino, Zimmer, Beltrami's 3:10 To Yuma... There are probably a bunch more I can't remember at the moment. Oh wait, I have had it with JW. Schindler's List and Munich. Don't know how those slipped by.

Hm, it happens quite often to me... from the "top of my head" (in quasi-chronological order):

Jaws - Ben Gardner's Boat (that one actually brings me to tears by the end of it), Man Against Beast, Three Barrels Under, The Shark Approaches, Blown to Bits, Out to Sea

Star Wars - Imperial Attack, Attack of the Sand People, Tales of a Jedi Knight/Learn About the Force, Burning Homestead, Princess Leia's Theme, The Milennium Falcon/Imperial Cruiser Pursuit, Destruction of Alderaan, Battle of Yavin, Throne Room/End Title

Jaws 2 - Finding the Orca (Main Titles), Brody Misunderstood

Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back - The Ice Planet Hoth, Wampa's Lair, Battle of Hoth, Asteroid Field, Mynock Cave, Magic Tree, Yoda's Theme, Yoda and the Force, Imperial Starfleet Deployed/ City in the Clouds, Deal with the Dark Lord, Carbon Freeze/ Darth Vader's Trap/Departure of Boba Fett, Clash of Lightsabers, Rescue from Cloud City/Hyperspace, Rebel Fleet/End Titles

Man oh man, is this going to be a long list.

Raid- how about I stop for now?

No chills for me. Adrenaline rush here.... The Helicopter Sequence from Superman, and the Nazi Sub from Raiders.

Lots of 'em, although not as many these days, unfortunately. I really do wonder exactly how that physical sensation of chills happens when listening to really great music...it's pretty weird...

Really what this comes down to is I need to spend more of my listening time without doing other activities. I've gotten so bad over the last few years about doing other stuff while I listen, and it dilutes my attention and appreciation for the music. I blame part of this on my use of the computer for most of my listening - it's easier to just sit next to a CD player and not do anything else than to avoid the temptations of the Internet and so forth while listening in iTunes - but honestly, I just need to fix it. I'll enjoy the music more. Maybe even try Joey's dark listening test for a few albums, if I ever get a chance when my roommates are gone and I'm not busy.

Well if we are talking actual chills, as being frightened, then "Barry's Abduction" is the one.

I quite agree, this is scary stuff, indeed, and not to be listened to on your own, and in the dark (although that is probably the best time to listen to it...). "Turning back The World" always does it for me, oh, and I never fail to get chils, when, on the extras dvd for "THP" Rick McCallum says "this is awesome", then the credits, and then the ENORMOUS cheer from the audience. Wonderful. Funnily enough, "Superman Returns" main title gets me going simply because I'd never thought that I would hear THAT music at the cinema again.

P.s., when Chris Eccleston first looked up from the Tardis console and said "d'you wanna come with me?", I melted...

Which JW tracks send chills down your spine?, And I mean it literally!

That part near the end of Raiders just 'before' and 'as' the spirit raises its face to turn nasty.

It's one of those examples where only a few seconds of music can give you that chill.

Edit : You can hear it on this video. Starts at 2:46 and ends at 2:57.
