Yavar Moradi 2,603
Yes I think this is the first time a Lucasfilm project has been expanded by one of the film music specialty labels. Bodes well for Willow! I'm sure Star Wars and even Indiana Jones are going to be a whole other kettle of fish... although maybe Intrada could be allowed to tackle The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, or Peter Bernstein's two Ewok scores? Music is a mixed bag, half sultry, Noir like moody jazz think The Specialist and has a Bond like adventure tone. The score has a nice triumphant theme that could have been Barrys version of Indiana Jones. It's a great Barry score. 8 minutes ago, Jay said: Gosh I hope Willow is in the works, and coming soon! Amer 2,117
And the next Intrada release scheduled along with HOWARD THE DUCK is none other than the world premiere of original John Barry KING RAT score along with OST album which turned out to be a rerecording. This is the 60s score that Doug Fake was super excited about in his blog. It's an interesting mature score from Barry. The OST album had been long OOP. Listen to Intrada podcast below: http://www.intrada.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8268&p=81747#p81747 And.... ...... Also Coming after KING RAT and HTD release is another most wanted release which fans had been clamoring for but had some confusing license ownership. So it's another surprise to be unveiled in their next PODCAST. (I hope it's either WILLOW or ONE OF DINOSAUR'S IS MISSING.) Yavar Moradi

Yavar Moradi 2,603
This is the 60s release I thought might be the original recording of Goldsmith’s Hour of the Gun being discovered and released alongside a remastered version of the album from original elements. Apparently that score’s film recording is still MIA. I knew for sure based on Doug’s hints that if this wasn’t Hour of the Gun, this had to be a Bernstein or Barry score. I’m super please to find out that it was King Rat all along, as that’s a Barry favorite from the era! With this and HTD back to back, what an amazing time to be a Barry fan! Yavar Moradi 2,603
I don’t consider Hour of the Gun probable any more, now that the title I thought it might be turned out to be King Rat. Amer 2,117
Intrada already did The Boys from Brazil ages ago. Leviathan is owned by an Italian film company that also produced the movie and won't license the score to anyone even though (the labels) they are all pursuing it. Brundlefly 2,385
The Boys from Brazil should be remastered and re-released. That one and Explorers should not be that long out of print, that is just not right. I, however, I just have a damaged copy of The Boys from Brazil, so I am hoping for that one to come first. 1977 1,743
It's frustrating that so many in print Intrada titles are awaiting a repressing (such as The Rocketeer and Who Framed Roger Rabbit). I understand that the few remaining pressing plants are under pressure to deal with the backlog and all. It seems that Intrada takes longer to get their stuff restocked than LLL for example, I wonder why this is. It's just made me realise one should order the titles one wants immediately rather than waiting (funds permitting of course). Amer
Jurassic Shark 12,091
Well, Intrada regularly gets all sorts of lesser titles back in stock. The problem with The Rocketeer, which has been OOP for such a long time, must be more substantial. 1977

I don't know what film plot I expected based on that title but it certainly wasn't what Doug described! Holy shit! I've long heard that this was one of Elmer's greatest unreleased scores with a lot of fans pining after it. Excited to finally hear it (and apparently the film is getting a Blu-ray restoration as well, which I might also check out since the plot sounds so intriguing).
