Lousy inflation! Jay found the thread from 2 years ago that talks about JW drinking Blue Label and I wrote in it that $200 a bottle was too steep for my blood. And now it sells for $235??

$235.99

I've just looked on Amazon. An 18 year old Macallan is selling for £349.95. At the current exchange rate, that's $441.

Still cheaper than some of the semi-regular Macallans you find in airports.

Yep

What!?! You guys are quoting me! Hahahaha.   But yes, it's correct.  :D  We bought JW Blue Label as a gift for Johnny on a hint from his brother, Don, as his drink of choice.  Elegant and refined...just like him.

I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but I know he drinks water. Don't ask me how I know. I just know.

And I'd love to know what kind of coffee (if any) he drinks. That would become my new coffee drink.

He drinks Perrier with his lunch of a turkey sandwich.

Never heard of this wine before, but it's on special nearby. Will have to pick up a bottle!

Let me know how it is and if you suddenly feel like writing some music while drinking it.

Jewelled Chocolate Bark

That's just what Mary McCartney makes him eat when he comes over. She probably also sends him a box of it every year because he was polite and said he liked it...

JW: "Ugh. More "Jewelled Chocolate Bark"..."

SS: "I know, I got some too."

That picolo Champagne that came along with the flower bouquet an autograph-seeking fan had sent to his Hotel Imperial room in Vienna...in advance of the afternoon performance.

I know for a fact that once or twice he requested a screwdriver to be made for him

Screwdrivers are at least more affordable than the top-shelf Johnnie walker we learned he likes earlier in this thread.

A better question would be: does John Williams likes to have a drink after a long, stressful day at a recording studio? Or maybe something at the end of a very long, complicated and filled with re-writes scoring proccess?

I had hot chocolate at one of those cafes last week. Delicious and cheap, and I honestly didn't associate the name with the word compose. How I missed that, I have no idea.

Number 1 brand is I think a huge exaggeration - not true - but they are around and they're probably one of the cheapest. Around half the price of Starbucks!
