crocodile 8,020
Yeah Spielberg is still very reasonable as far as budgets go. Maybe not counting employing Tom Cruise, who probably took 1/4 of the budget of Minority Report. KOTCS was more expensive only because they shot so much of it practically with large sets (not that it looks this way).Karol
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
Tintin, being shot completely in a studio, requiring very little in the way of sets and then rendered on computer should not have been THAT expensive to produce. Quintus 5,399
http://www.boxoffice...?id=3299&p=.htmWhilst not being a resounding smash hit, Tintin will still turn a tidy profit during its theatrical run. And then there's the riches of Blu. It's safe to say we'll see the two planned sequels go into production, and maybe more after that...

Josh500 1,615
Do asians also pay the equivalent of 9 to 14 Euro's for a cinema ticket?Well, Asia is HUGE (approx. 4 1/2 times the size of Europe in terms of area, and more than 5 times the size in terms of population). In Japan and South Korea, movie tickets are priced similarly as in Europe. In China, and in many other South-East Asian countries, they are cheaper, I expect... simply because the cost of living is much less.
