Something doesn't make sense there. It's either 6m64, 7m64 or 6m64-7m64. Two different cues with the same cue number, but different reel number seems unlikely to me.

I heard the track today and I'm super excited for the film. I loved the classic themes mixes with your style and hints from the '97 game. Can't wait to see it and hear it in theaters! Thank you!

Interesting post on his Instagram. Hints to the Playstation game score after all!

Hmm i was expecting that Giacchino and his orchestrators were going to try hard to emulate the Williams sound.

I dont know if the mix of Williams' and Giacchino's own styles blend together well :/

Beautiful piece, that one.

Be assured that it won't get a millisecond of a reference in the cue. Why making up these literal musical puns that have no meaning whatsoever is beyond me.

No, it's idiotic. Naming a cue 'The Kronos Wartet' and it's a listless action cue is like playing the Jaws theme over a beach scene that has no sharks or brown choco bars (cf CADDYSHACK).

I just realised all those Giacchino scores will come out within three-four weeks. This is crazy.

I know, just slow like that. Never occurred to me those films are so close to each other.

Atleast that one has better pun context.

I always liked a cue title Roll Over Beethoven in Knowing by Marco Beltrami.

Especially that this very cue got replaced by good old Ludwig in the film.

Actually, I never realized until double-checking just now that JW is an early June release...for some reason I thought it was July. I guess talking of "the three Giacchino summer scores" makes it sound like they're more spread out, but all three in just a few weeks is indeed pretty nuts.

Courage and Wisdome would be World's Worst Middle-earth Doctor.

World's Worst Toilet Flush would be the title for barrel sequence.

Karol

Nah, that would be for Thrice Welcome.

Barrels sequence would be Do a Barrel Roll.

World's Worst Dragon Trap

Bard Bows Out

Giant Golden Statues Can Suck It!

Dwarfed by Thorin

Bard Wired Defence

Giacchino would name "Sons of Durin" probably "Saved by the Bell".

Or Thorin the Bell Tolls.

With the bag positioned like that, there could still be more to the title of 1m1. A letter 's' for instance. Or a whole other word. Just saying.

Sounds like an interesting scene to open the score with either way.

LOL. They sure ain't running out of whacky titles even when the writing schedule's quite tight. Curious how G and his team come up with these.

Written in what seems like a month, and recorded in four days? For a 150 minute movie?

JNH pulled that off!

For which score?
