mstrox 6,651
There's Disney Infinity - they have a whole TFA expansion. I'm wondering when Marvel is going to start publishing comics in this era. Might be hard to do with Rey (I'm sure they'll want to save a lot of her story for Episode VIII), but they could easily do something with the Resistance vs. First Order troops (either shortly before or shortly after TFA). mstrox 6,651
My guess is that is more likely. Marvel's only announced new comics for 2016 are a C-3PO one-shot (showing the genesis of the red arm) and a limited series about Obi-Wan and Anakin between TPM and AOTC. I'm sure things will bust open in the new year.

Chris ChrusherComix 46
I want to make an edit but my God there are seemingly a ton of micro-edits in here from what I hear and read here, then the low bitrate too. Big headache to do. Then do it and a higher quality version comes along, or a 2-CD set, lol.
Damien F 1,742
That edit at 0:32 in The Ways of the Force on the FYC is extremely ugly. I'm happy to use the OST version of that cue. The Scherzo can take care of the action music heard at the beginning of that FYC track.

Damien F 1,742
Yeah, it just cuts off Luke's theme as it is building momentum. I actually noticed it in the theater during my second viewing because I was so used to the scherzo.

At about 0:30 on the FYC (just before the brass starts Luke's theme), there is a possible edit point where you could possibly splice in the sherzo. 5 minutes ago, pete said: I wish every week was this exciting. Haha. It has been a crazy week. I certainly didn't think I'd be discussing editing FYC with the OST within days of the official OST release. Popular Post Jay 37,364
This is the simple playlist I've been doing to listen to the score. It's the best way to get the most amount of music without having to do any in-track editing and without repeating anything. OST 06 Rey's Theme (3:11) OST 16 March of the Resistance (2:35) OST 17 Snoke (2:03) OST 21 Scherzo for X-Wings (2:32) FYC 01 The Attack on the Jakku Village Part 1 (5:27) FYC 02 The Attack on the Jakku Village Part 2 (1:53) OST 02 The Scavenger (3:39) FYC 05 I Can Fly Anything (4:09) FYC 06 Finn’s Trek (1:35) FYC 07 Follow Me and The Falcon (7:09) OST 08 That Girl with the Staff (1:58) OST 09 The Rathtars! (4:05) FYC 09 Snoke (2:07) FYC 10 You Got A Name? (1:32) OST 10 Finn's Confession (2:08) OST 11 Maz's Counsel (3:07) FYC 12 The Starkiller (1:52) FYC 13 Kylo Ren Arrives at the Battle (2:15) FYC 14 The Resistance (1:35) OST 14 The Abduction (2:25) OST 15 Han and Leia (4:41) FYC 17 The Bombing Run (2:07) FYC 18 On The Inside (2:54) FYC 19 Torn Apart (4:24) OST 20 The Ways of the Force (3:15) FYC 21 The Journey Home (2:18) FYC 22 Farewell and The Trip (3:49) FYC 23 The Jedi Steps and Finale (9:58) TOTAL TIME - 1:30:43 Some notes: I like the concert arrangements first but you could certainly put them after instead Obviously the main title isn't here, but I don't mind. I've been listening to that piece for 20 years and don't need to hear it everytime I listen to this score. Obviously if you can't live without it, you can use OST track 1 instead of FYC tracks 1 and 2. For "The Way of the Force", I went with the OST version to get the great music for Rey getting the saber. The FYC version replaces that bit with the music for the X-Wings attack, which is great but since we have similar music in the Sherzo track it was easy to keep the OST version. For "The Starkiller", "Kylo Ren Arrives At The Battle", and "Torn Apart" you could swap in the OST version if you prefer. Each of these 3 tracks covers the same footage between FYC and OST but has some differences throughouts. For all the other tracks, I chose the one with more music. Jay 37,364
Not really, because the X-Wing attack happens at the 0:45 mark of The Ways of the Force track It goes like this: Rey Gets the Saber (OST Ways of the Force 0:00-0:45) X-Wing Attack (FYC Ways of the Force 0:00-1:20) Rey Vs Ren Duel (either OST 0:45-end or FYC 1:20-end) It's annoying because if the film had kept Williams' intentions for Rey getting the saber instead of tracking in Burning Homestead, then the FYC track would be the entire sequence in one track, likely. Anyways, I specifically like having hte concert arrangements grouped together at the beginning or the end, and not intermingled with film cues, but of course can do whatever you want with your own playlist
