Ollie 1,059
I like that overly stylized statue-like trilogy cover. Is that the original, unexpanded release?I have no idea, is there a difference? I got rid of the original when the expanded version was released.
Joni Wiljami 1,206
I prefer the 'double' LPs cause' their inner folds are just great:And yes , those Anthology covers are "great" , this is Empire.

MSM 126
It's indeed difficult to pick fav covers without being influenced by the album content I love it when a cd is released with a nice cover. In general I tend to like Sony's covers, which have often nicely balanced color lay-outs and a little artistic designs. I especially like the out-of-focus photo parts, accents in gold color and multiple layering. Also I prefer covers without images of people. Marcus 390
I generally have a hard time stomaching soundtrack album covers. They tend to look like over-stated ads for their respective films (which is obviously understandable, but distracting nonetheless).I think album covers in general have a tendency to be a bit "loud".A label that has very successfully achieved a sense of aesthetic direction that feels musical, is ECM.Their understated CD's signal quality, finesse and thoughtfulness. However, "Hook" and "Munich" are quite a lot nicer than most. Red 75
The Hook cover is great because it's so understated. Elfman's Batman is the same way.
