  1. The mouse is just trying to find someone to move her home to another location.
  2. I’d go with Silvestri as I haven’t been wowed by anything from Howard since King Kong.
  3. Both Shazam films and portions of The Flash movie are the only DC scores worthwhile. The rest are unmemorable, although one could argue Wonder Woman’s theme, but that gets tiresome after awhile as there’s not much substance there. I don’t count the Batman since that’s on its own. Even though Marvel may have thematic continuity issues, the music provided for the films once Feige took full control, is miles ahead of it’s counterpart.
  4. c’mon now, Powell’s not that bad of a composer.
  5. This looks to be one I can wait for to start streaming on Netflix, or whatever platform will do it.
  6. “One does not simply have enough Goldsmiths”
  7. I believe it may be. The Varese recording is one of my least favorite albums, it just feels off, even with the alternates recorded. The cover art, misinformed liner notes.
  8. Hard topic to give a concrete answer to. STTMP would be my number one answer if truly pressed, and I love the Fred Steiner cues. First Blood, Mulan, Rambo II, Poltergeist, Total Recall, The Final Conflict, The Blue Max and Innerspace are some of my most played Goldsmith scores. I could easily swap those with others. Goldsmith is the most represented composer in my collection
  9. If I could go back and talk to my younger self, I'd say be patient and check these dates for the proper releases. I'll triple dip on this one cause it's Goldsmith and I can pitch the two previous CDs for one space on my shelf.
  10. There may be a few I might not get, if they are released. Not too fond of Goldeneye and The Spy Who Loved Me.
  11. I actually like this score. I liked that Giacchino moved away from Williams' themes, for the most part, and did his own thing. Desplat did his own thing as well. I'm enjoying the listen. The Boat Chase and the T-Rex cue are standouts so far.
  12. This is one of my favorite Poledouris scores. Never thought I’d triple dip but here we are.😆
  13. The album is clocking in at 1hr 41 minutes. https://www.qobuz.com/nz-en/album/jurassic-world-rebirth-original-motion-picture-soundtrack-alexandre-desplat/godg3vt1bfayc
  14. I know. He’s still doing a Star Wars movie, which had been mentioned in this thread, prior to my post.
