Richard Penna 3,715
That was another very strange one (Hulk). It's good when it happens to a score, but as you mention, is it sought after? But no, I can't blame a label one iota for capitalising on a studio opening its doors like that.
Corellian2019 386
I would have preferred a Pelican Brief expansion, but that's just me. Since the chapter is almost closed on Goldsmith scores from the 90s (apart from the Varese titles), maybe the labels will transfer their attention to Horner scores from the 90s bollemanneke
bollemanneke 3,359
I'm still waiting to order Braveheart here, that's four months now. Why are they being so slow? You'd think selling would be kind of a priority...
Jay 37,421
It's actually very expensive to press another batch of CD sets. Since they have't had any big releases the first half of the year besides Twister, they probably don't have the funds available to order more until some of their big titles they've sank money into finally come out and start selling bollemanneke

Jay 37,421
More people wanted to own the score to the 70s Wonder Woman show than Mancina's great score to Twister? Wow!
Wojo 2,453
There must be a large demographic of older fans who love that show. Or collectors stocking up on items related to the recent movie, for resale later.

TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT: LIMITED EDITION (2-CD SET) LLLCD 1432Music by Steve JablonskyLimited Edition of 3000 UnitsRETAIL PRICE: $24.98 STARTS SHIPPING JULY 25 La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures present the limited edition 2-CD SET of acclaimed composer Steve Jablonsky’s (TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION, ENDER’S GAME) original motion picture score to the big-screen blockbuster TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT, starring Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel and Anthony Hopkins, and directed by Michael Bay. Jablonsky and TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT director Michael Bay continue an exciting, longstanding collaboration that has forged numerous cinematic blockbusters, including the previous four TRANSFORMERS films. “I met with Michael before he started shooting Transformers: The Last Knight,” recalled Jablonsky. “He showed me some amazing concept art and explained how the story connects the history of Transformers all the way back to the times of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. I loved the idea because it gave me the opportunity to explore new musical ideas… The storyline allowed me to write melodies that are a bit more “classical” than I’ve written for the other Transformers films, which was a lot of fun for me.” Produced by the composer and mastered by Patricia Sullivan at Bernie Grundman Mastering, this special limited edition CD release of 3000 units will thrill film music fans with an exhilarating musical experience! Jay 37,421
Quote Things went very well for us this month with 5 great releases. Four of them are in stock and have shipped out. The 5th title, Transformers The Last Knight, arrives Tuesday or Wednesday. We'll get to packing them up straight away! August 1 We will not have any new titles ready, but we will have several titles go back on sale that have been out of stock (some for a few years), so it will be a good time to catch your breath or stock up on some old favorites you missed out on. August 15 This will be our ONLY release batch for the month (just like in July). Nothing will be coming out Aug 29. Two titles should be in stock and ready to ship around mid August, while the two other planned titles will most likely be in stock and ready to ship a week or so later. To save on time (and you folks overseas -- MONEY) we will start accepting orders on August 15 for the planned 4 titles and start shipping our orders as the cd's become available. I'm hoping we will know what titles will be ready by the first week of August. When we know, we'll let you know. Will September be back to normal? Who knows?! In the meantime, enjoy the great titles July brought you and look forward to the 2 or possibly 4 titles August has in store! Incanus 5,722
Waterworld for me since I don't own that JNH action/adventure romp yet. Although I am intrigued by the Waxman release and might pick that up too.
Pieter Boelen 740
Waterworld is excellent news! That's quite an amazing adventure score; fun themes, some beauty and lots of action.
Maglorfin 196
Cool! Newton Howard (I actually have the regular edition from 1995) and Silvestri for me, please. I'm still hoping for somebody to re-release JNH's Alive from 1993, I think it's a beautiful score which definitely deserves deluxe treatment. publicist

Really? Is Pretty Woman that good? I don't have it, but LITW is my favourite JNH, and King Kong certainly makes my top 5, too. Also Treasure Planet. Romão 2,274
I really like Waterworld and I own the OST. But is there a lot missing that makes the expansion worthwhile?
Jay 37,421
Yea, there's some great action music in the complete score that isn't on the OST. Hopefully they pick good samples to showcase it.
thestat 352
How much more new music is there in Waterworld? The old album, even at a 60 minute running time, was comprehensive.

Now, if they next do 'Hidalgo', that's a mammoth score with loads of great music missing! Incanus and Pieter Boelen
