  1. Is he saying there's only one action cue in the score? https://www.instagram.com/p/C6op4WjR8os/
  2. I think IMDB is pretty accurate for existing films, it can just be full of crap for upcoming films IMDB clearly says Dreamworks and 20th have "Presents" credits for What Lies Beneath: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0161081/companycredits/ Which is accurate and exactly what the poster says They distributed the film made by ImageMovers. Regardless, I looked at the back cover of the DE and it says © 2024 Dreamworks, LLC & ℗ 2024 20th Century Studios. And incidentally, when copying the poster's credit block onto the back cover of the DE, they dropped off the "Directed By Robert Zemeckis" part and nobody noticed!
  3. Roger says Intrada Announces: NIGHT PASSAGE Composed and Conducted by DIMITRI TIOMKIN INTRADA ISC 507 Intrada announces the premiere release of the 1958 Universal Pictures western Night Passage. Composer Dimitri Tiomkin was famous for his westerns, including such classics as High Noon, Gunfight at the OK Corral, Red River and Rio Bravo. Until now, very little of his score to Night Passage has been released. Here, Tiomkin displays his legendary talent for scoring the genre, including exciting action passages, broad sweeping themes and two songs written with lyricist Ned Washington: “Follow The River” is a soulful ballad, sweeping and wide, and “You Can’t Get Far Without A Railroad” is a folksy, comic song that a vaudevillian might have called a “novelty number.” Stewart, with his rustic, untrained baritone, performs both in the film (as can be heard in the Extras on this disc). The CD was produced by Chris Malone using the original mono session masters stored in pristine condition at Universal. The score runs 52 minutes with an additional 24 minutes of extras. In the film, James Stewart plays Grant McLaine, a onetime “trouble shooter” for railroad boss Ben Kimball (Jay C. Flippen). McLaine is now a vagabond who earns his supper playing the accordion and singing. Amid encounters with two old flames, Charlie (Dianne Foster) and Verna (Elaine Stewart), who is now Kimball’s wife, he learns that the railroad payroll has twice been stolen by an outlaw gang led by Whitey Harbin (Dan Duryea) and that among the gang is The Utica Kid (Audie Murphy), whose personal history with McLaine is what led to the latter’s fall from grace. Kimball offers McLaine a shot at redemption if he will safeguard the payroll as it travels by train to the end of the line. 4. I hate to be the one to inform you of this, Yavar, but not everything you read on the internet is true.
  5. You linked to the wrong part of the wiki page btw ImageMovers was the production company. Dreamworks distributed the film in the US, 20th distributed the film overseas IIRC the back cover of the DE doesn't mentioned 20th on it anywhere, but I can check when I get home.
  6. New ‘Barbarella’ Movie Starring Sydney Sweeney Eyes Jane Goldman And Honey Ross To Co-Write With Edgar Wright In Talks To Direct
  7. Fox only distributed the film internationally and this is an American music label releasing it in America, where it was distributed by Dreamworks. I doubt Fox/Disney was involved (and 8 years ago, Disney hadn't bought Fox yet anyway)
  8. Wow! In all the countless times I've seen this movie, I don't think I ever quite clocked that shot before. Something new to appreciate next viewing!
  9. WHAT!? That line delivery is the best in the whole trilogy. It's perfect! Yes.
  10. Are you implying nobody should ever post it to this board again because you posted it once before?
  11. I think the implication is that they were considered but then replaced by something else, not that the album would have been even longer than it ended up at. But either way, I've never seen any further info about it than what's in the booklet
