I've said it several times.  Michelle Pfeiffer's performance and character arc, and Elfman's music for her, is my favorite thing in any Batman movie ever made.  Catwoman has never been done as well before or since.

Perhaps the lady is just what the doctor ordered. She seems lovely and wise.

Disappointed to hear Mortara looks dead in the water. What about Montezuma, Spielberg? C'mon!

Hard to believe Spielberg would leave a Kushner script and a Zaillian script to gather dust on the shelf.

Kushner working on the script for West Side Story is pretty telling though.

It's telling, what gets put into turnaround, these days.

Didn't Gibson do Montezuma (sort of)?

Anyway, I'm waiting for the sequel: THE FULL MONTEZUMA

I just don't think that the West Side Story remake leaves much room for Williams to do anything interesting.  That is unless he contributes a new song or two or maybe some new themes for the underscore.

Well, he did make a great arrangement of the music to Fiddler.

Here's hoping the McGuffin provides something weighty and culturally interesting for Williams to write for.  Greek mythology perhaps?

I see nothing wrong with BFG and Indy 5.

Don't much care for political drama or musical though.

Well, whereas I like BFG, I have a problem with another Indy, but the point is there were so many much more interesting projects that Spielberg considered making. None of these was realized yet.

He should have made Pirate Latitudes!!

And someone should finally make that second Tintin.

More Indy films are welcome too though, provided they're better than the last one.

(Yep, I like adventure films more than any other ones. ;) )

Why not shoot this year and release next May? Spielberg could pump this out in less than a year if he wanted. Williams could also finish the score and move straight onto SW IX. As it stands, the two films look set to collide.

Though I think, unlike RPO and BOS, Spielberg would move heaven and earth to ensure Williams scored Indy 5, even if it meant extending/delaying post-production. He once said he'll never make an Indy film without Ford, Kahn and Williams working with him.
