Ceiling-mounted speakers were utilized at the second one... distractingly so. It sounded like a second orchestra - very detached. Granted the event was a "Space Spectacular" with lighting and fire effects, but they overdid the sound from the speakers on every piece. 🙁 53 minutes ago, Steve McQueen said: You called it Nick! Popular Post Damien F 1,742
I know a lot of us here are fanatical about John Williams, and at times that may seem like a niche interest, so it is always lovely to see the outpouring of admiration for him from the general public. It is a wonderful reminder of just how important his music is, and of how many people his music has touched. There are literally generations of people making their way home from the concert hall still enjoying the memory of his music. Giftheck 916
I loved it! Though I did feel a bit overdressed and going over on my foot as I took my seat in Box 63 was a bit of a dampener. In spite of the last-minute refunds, the Hall was still packed, looked like every seat was filled. My personal favourites of the night were Jurassic Park, Jaws and Han Solo And The Princess.
