Excerpt from Indy 5 OST track "New York, 1969" now streaming

I just found this uploaded to the Disney Music Licensing website. It's not the fragment of the Raiders March we heard a few weeks back, this is an actual film cue.

 

Sadly we can only access 44 seconds via this website, and it sounds achingly sad. The release date is listed at 25/6, so this should come online imminently.

Another interesting tidbit that may be nothing... but if we look at the ISRC codes there's a very telling gap in registered titles.

 

USWD12326080 is taken by a Disney Vacation song, but #81-97 are currently blank, followed by New York, 1969 and Helena's Theme (Violin and Orchestra Version) at #98 and #99. #100 onwards tracks are taken by other titles.

 

This might indicate the OST has 19 tracks, but it might be absolutely nothing.

Well, so far I was only able to hear a few seconds of it 🤣🤣

But honestly Barber’s adagio is really not that complicated a piece…pretty much just based on a scale…so yeah, anything that has 2 or more notes that are part of a scale might sound similar to it. Especially if played on strings.
