Jay 37,364
Let's look back at a statement MV made back on May 1st of this year, here. "We currently have 8 titles still waiting approvals at UME which has been going on for a long long time Two titles at Sony Music 1 over at WMG And a host of others all over town. X-Men was the first title to get out of that UME log jam. Hopefully others will follow shortly." Since that post, LLL has announced: UME/UMG (Universal music): Always Somewhere In Time Glory SME (Sony music): none WMG (Warner music): A.I. Artificial Intelligence re-issue Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan all over town Caboblanco (Silver Lion Films) Dragonslayer (Paramount Pictures) Infinite (Paramount Pictures) Internal Affairs (Paramount Pictures) Waiting for Barbarians (Pianella Music) Time Tunnel Vol 2 (Synthesis Entertainment, 20th Century Studios and Legendary Pictures) Snake Eyes (Paramount Pictures) Woman Warriors (Higher Purpose Production) Stripes (Sony pictures) So remaining from his May 1st post are still 5 more Universal Music titles, and the 2 Sony Music titles (which incidentally, he first mentioned back in February 2019) Wondering which Williams scores are controlled by Universal Music or Sony Music? Popular Post Dr. Rick 1,157
JW UMG possibilities: I could see a 50th anniversary Fiddler on the Roof coming up. The film's release date was November 3rd, 1971 according to Google so that would match up perfectly for an October / BF release! It's also the 25th anniversary for Sleepers, film's release date was October 18th, 1996 per Google. Doubtful this film would be tied to an anniversary release but still a slight possibility. JW SME possibilities: Of course Hook would be my first choice for its 30th anniversary, film release was December 11th, 1991. I won't hold out hope for it though. Other contenders... The Reivers, the film was released on Christmas Day, 1969. Historically significant release for sure! SpaceCamp is 35th anniversary this year, but I would guess that it would be under Intrada territory still? The movie was released on June 6th, 1986. Jay 37,364
SpaceCamp would be Intrada only, yes, since the film was made by ABC Motion Pictures and distributed by 20th Century Dr. Rick
