Popular Post Jay 37,364
Here's my final speculations before the OST drops 17 tracks are film cues, and this would be the chronological order of them (Since JW often likes to jumble order around, no way to predict what order they'll actually be presented on the OST) Fanfare and Prologue [a portion being the same as some of FYC Prologue] Journey to Exegol [a portion being the same as some of FYC Prologue] We Go Together [classic JW combo track, featuring FYC We Go Together seguing to FYC To Kijimi, which actually belongs after The Speeder Chase] The Speeder Chase [entire track not on the FYC at all] Fleeing from Kijimi [FYC Fleeing From Kijimi + FYC Hallway Shooting] Join Me [FYC Hard to Get Rid Of + FYC Join Me] The Old Death Star [FYC The Old Death Star + FYC Off The Waterfront] The Final Saber Duel [FYC Final Saber Duel + FYC Healing Wounds] Destiny of A Jedi [FYC Advice & more stuff] Battle of the Resistance [FYC Battle of the Resistance & lots more] Approaching the Throne [FYC Approaching The Throne without the cool way the FYC track opens] Reunion [FYC Parents & more stuff] They Will Come [FYC Coming Together] The Force Is With You [FYC Seeing Sights + FYC Rescue] Farewell [FYC Farewell] A New Home {FYC A New Home & another Binary Sunset re-recording, with a clean ending instead of seguing to end credits] Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Album Finale [What JW wrote for the end credits, that JJ replaced with old material in the final cut of the film itself] And 2 tracks are concert arrangements: The Rise of Skywalker (the "Farewell theme" from FYC Approaching The Throne / Rescue / Farewell] Anthem of Evil (the theme from FYC Prologue / Join Me / Off The Waterfront) It's also possible The Rise of Skywalker is a combo theme track like The Rebellion is Reborn, and the "trio theme" from We Go Together and the Kimiji tracks is combined with the "Farewell theme" into a mega arrangement. (The more I think about it, the more likely I think this is) It's also possible this film starts with a cold open, and that's what Journey to Exegol is, and then Fanfare and Prologue is track 2! Less than 15 hours to go! MrJosh, Taikomochi, Bayesian and 4 others

Balahkay 627
Do any other FYCs with original music contain an end credits suite? Maybe end credits music isn’t allowed anymore since it’s not part of the film proper?
Jay 37,364
Even if that was the case, it wouldn't explain why he had to title an OST track "Album Finale" instead of ""End Credits" Will

Tom 4,658
I don't know that I would too much stock in this end credits business. dylanskie 104
Yeah, the lack of "Main Title" is the biggest thing that jumps out at me, and I can't wait to see what the deal is with it. It's probably part of "Fanfare and Prologue"... but why call it "Fanfare"? The answers will be revealed shortly
Popular Post Pawel P. 738
Okay, I'm watching the movie in 9 hours. This is a special moment. The end of the saga, perhaps the last of John Williams' great epic scores. I haven't listened to FYC because I think it's worth being patient. I think I'll write here about my feelings about the music in the movie after the screening. Half the reason I feel it worked last time was because it was in such a tiny, front-of-park shop - they probably didn't know or care that they were breaking street date and not making enough waves for anyone to notice. I'd assume a park that focuses on SW would be a little smarter about that. Alas, lightning did not strike twice. I checked the store I did last time, as well as a few other noteworthy areas and no dice, despite this CLEAR homage to the Death Star.
