And it will also be available in video soon Highlights were Valerian, ghost writer and Harry Potter. Shape of water was nice. The other stuff was ok. But the orchestra was great and so was the venue. It was the first time I was in choir seats and I loved seing the conductor face during the concert ! Desplat is a nice conductor I would say. Calm but meticulous and vigorous when needed. I go back on Saturday for a concert (also directed by Desplat) with my girlfriend. This time It will only be about film music. I hope he will include Godzilla and imitation game. Vidéo recording will be here: https://www.arte.tv/fr/videos/080586-024-A/alexandre-desplat-dirige-l-orchestre-national-de-france/4 points

Yeah. Anyone vaguely fimilar with Marvel Studios' output knows they don't kill off characters if they can help it. Plus, by the time Spiderman turned to dust, Spiderman 2 already had a title! I'm also pretty sure you can't have Guardians of the Galaxy 3 with just Rocket. Its just too little, too late. If Marvel had set a grittier aesthetic and storytelling with the entirety of Phase 3, I might buy into it more. As it is, we've been so saturated in this low-stakes storytelling mode, that any character death - which would be par for the course in any other series - blows our mind.2 points

So John Powell actually got TWO Grammy nominations. As discussed over on the Williams subforum, "Mine Mission" is nominated for Best Instrumental Composition. But I'm much more happy to see that he also got a nomination for the Ferdinand score! "Madrid Finale" is nominated for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella2 points

And I think I know why, too. That's because it's not one person doing all the packing. Obviously, duh. It's 20 guys and girls, or 30, or maybe even more, and each one probably gets their share. One guy does orders 1-50, the next guy 50-100, and so on. That's my theory anyway! Well, they already took our money.... They're in a party mood. 😂 Congrats! You might have been the very first.2 points

Didn't you order it within the first few minutes? I wouldn't worry. I just got a shipping notice too... And I ordered it with 30 minutes delay!2 points

The moon episode is good. What's so bad about it? Matt Smith's seasons generally sucked and he looked like Tarkin at the end of Episode III. They were still better than this season, though. I'd rather watch any of the old seasons. I'm sure they at least have some eye candy. Season 8 is nearly perfect and 9 despite its shortcomings still featured the best pairing of Doctor and assistant I've seen.2 points -

Can someone, anyone, please tell… Nope. I'm joking but it annoys me so much. It's like those mandatory but lazy establishing shots you get in every movie. Oh the movie takes place in Paris ! Quick! Eiffel tower shot / Rooftops of french haussmannian buildings / Accordion cliché. At some point, I was expecting Dumbledore and Newt to sit at a café, ordering fine wine, baguette and camembert…1 point
